We return for a 3rd year to the incredibly peaceful and energetically charged environment of Tofte Manor.
A hidden gem in the Bedfordshire countryside, the magic of this 17th century manor house lies in its beautiful landscaped gardens, its history which dates back to the Knights Templar and the lovingly restored interiors.
The terrace overlooks a sunken garden, swings and seats are hidden amongst stately trees and of course - there's two labyrinths to walk around for time to reflect. Take yourself off to a quiet spot and curl up with a book. Explore some of the 50 acres of surrounding countryside, lounge by the pool, or simply enjoy the space and time to be on your own and relax.

Yoga to move, feel and LIVE better
Over the 3 days we will explore the application of movement, breath work and mindfulness within a yoga practice. These therapeutic practices draw from eastern wisdom and modern science to help us connect to the experience of “felt sense”. My aim is you leave the retreat with an applied understanding of how yoga can support health and wellbeing both on the mat and in our daily lives
Energising morning practices will combine mindful yoga, breath work, MFR and guided relaxation to help release stress & tension, create space in joints for improved movement, build resilience and support the natural renewal processes. Evening practices will delve into slower more introspective practices of pranayama, MFR, yin & restorative yoga for nervous system regulation, stress reduction, improved digestion and to access our dimmer switch to rest & restore.

ACCOMMODATION
The manor house has a large and comfortable drawing room where we will gather before our evening meal in the elegant dining room. The music room, television room and the cozy library offer smaller, quiet spots for reading or relaxing. The manor's beautifully decorated grand bedrooms have their own fireplaces, sumptuous beds and share gorgeous bathrooms with both big baths and showers. The Stable Courtyard has been carefully restored into contemporary cottages. Five of double or twin- bedded rooms are ensuite. Two of these rooms share a bathroom. Two of the cottages have terraces facing the courtyard and a small kitchen. All rooms at Tofte are of a very high standard. |
FOOD
All food is freshly prepared by the retreat chef. There will be a choice of delicious, healthy vegetarian and non vegetarian meals. Other dietary requirements will be accommodated. Tofte Manor bottles its own water that runs through the labyrinth pathway. It tastes delicious and is worlds away from our regular tap water. THINGS TO DO Between yoga sessions and meal times, you will have free time to explore your weekend home. There are 50 acres of countryside to explore. The gardens are anchored with beautiful crystals which create a unique energy and space, perfect for relaxing and quiet time. Weather permitting, the fire pit is a perfect place to gather in the evening. Never stay and Tofte and miss the experience of walking around the labyrinths its a catalyst for peaceful reflection. |

We will have exclusive use of Tofte Manor from 5pm Thursday 18th April to 5pm Sunday 14th May. The Retreat price includes:
Food and drinks other than those above Travel Costs Getting to Tofte Manor Tofte Manor is situated in the village of Sharnbrook between Cambridge and Northampton. It is easily accessible by road, approximately an hours drive from London, an hour and a half from Oxford, and just under 3 hours from Manchester. Bedford is the nearest train station is. Taxis are available to book from the station to Tofte, I may be able to organise transport from the station for you. Please enquire when booking. |
